It is from India, and likely made when India was ruled by Great Britain, which was between 1858 and 1947. I would guess sometime towards the end of British rule of indian. The design looks very British, with several pub scenes. The same design is on all sides of the stand. The feet on the bottom of the stand look like talons from a large bird figure. The metal has a great aged dark patina, and still in very nice condition. 42 1/2 inch tall. The display top on the pedestal measures approx. 10 1/4 inch square. At the bottom feet, to measures approx. It is pretty heavy at the bottom, so it will not tip easily. It is an exotic handsome display piece, surely a unique find.
