Up for your consideration is this rare, Mid Century Modern era, floor standing, planter, by iconic, Mid Century designer Hugh Acton. These usually come in a chrome finish, with a stainless steel bowl but these bronze finished plant stands are rare and harder to find. In researching, I only came across two shorter bronze finished plant stands. Measures 18″ tall x 13 5/8″ in diameter. Light weight and very sturdy! The main table is made of. Plywood with a black Formica top with gold coloured aluminium rim. The table has four fixed wooden feet with brass feet placed at a slight angle. There are one wooden stem which comprise of five wooden rods with a decorative wooden plinth, top and bottom. Bear one smaller yellow platform with gold coloured aluminium rims. The Plant Stand is in very. Good / good condition. The top platform has been painted in gloss yellow paint with a few cracks (please see pictures).
