This is an amazing antique circa 1890 large and heavy plant or oil lamp stand table ornate brass metal with onyx insert. Curved legs with fancy toes. Wonderful antique condition with some wear(dents, crack) and patina, but nothing serious, see pictures. The stands are about 33-1/2 tall including the top onyx plate. The top surface is 16 square. This is a beautiful antique Victorian 3-Tiered PLANT STAND. Made with onyx shelves & onyx finial accents. Beautifully ornate with fine brass or bronze scrollwork and sweeping undulating lines. Maximum dimensions are 46H x 13 3/4W x 13 1/2D. Each onyx flat measures 6 1/2W x 6 1/2D x 3/4H. The distance between the two bottom shelves is a bit more than 13 1/2. No chips or cracks to onyx. In beautiful antique condition as shown in photos. Photos taken inside and out for variations of color. This book / plant stand is fabulous! It is very sturdy. The brass metal has discolored some with age. The black metal has no scratches. There is a slight bend in one of the gold bars across the very top, across the top of the middle rack, and at the very bottom of this piece. These bends do not take away from the item at all. Could use a detailed cleaning and polishing, looks good as-is. The top two racks are perfect for books, possibly records and the bottom shelf is perfect for plants!
