Antique Child’s Metal Twisted Wire Back Leg Ice Cream Parlor Chair. Measures Approximately 22″ Tall x 10 1/2″ Wide. One of a Kind Yard Art. I Have Personally Had This Exact Chair Since The 1970′s &. It Has Been Outside in The Rain, Sun, Snow, Wind & Hail For All of Those Years! What’s Interesting is That it Looks The Same Today as It Did When I Got It. Never Putting Anything on it To Preserve it. The Only Thing I Did Was Put a Couple Nails in My Fence. Hung it On Those Nail, Found a Old Plastic Pot To Put in it & Plant Flowers. The Flowers in it Now Are Fake! But There is a Earlier History To This Chair. When I Was 12 (that’s 55 years ago) I Traveled From Oregon To North Dakota Where My. While There We Visited My Fathers Old Homestead. Dad Recalled This Old Cellar, & Of Course He Had To Investigate What What Still in There. So While I Stood Guard Outside as He Wouldn’t Let Me Go in For Fear of Rattle Snakes! He Brought Out a Few Things From His Childhood (around 1916 as he was born in 1913) &. Among Them Was This Old Bent Up Chair Which He said He &. His Brothers & Sisters Sat on in Their Farmhouse Kitchen. It Was Crushed Just Like it is Today as it Was Under God Knows What as I Couldn’t Go Down There. Over The Years My Mom Had it in Her Yard Just Sitting There Empty & it Kind of Grew on Me. By The Time I Was Maybe 18 or So. I Decided I Would Turn it into a Planter so When I Moved Out Mom Brought That Piece of Junk To Me. & Said I Should Put it in My Yard. In 1975 I Turned it into My Personal Yard Art / Planter. & Have Loved it Ever Since. So Here’s Your Chance To Get a ONE OF A KIND, GENUINE ANTIQUE Chair Planter. Comes From a Smoke / Pet Free Home. Hello, you are viewing my listing for an Antique Child’s School Desk Chair made from Metal and Wood. This chair would make a wonderful Garden Plant Stand or it can be used as designed. It weighs 14 pounds and measures 28 and 5/8″ tall at the back by 15 and 1/4″ wide at the seat by 12″ deep at the seat by 14 and 1/4″ tall at the seat. There is some minor wear present which I have shown in my photographs. There are no breaks or repairs. It has a lovely farm house look. Please view all my photographs for further details.
