Vintage French Black Marble Ornate Gilt Metal Base w/ Rams Heads Plant Stand. Spectacular vintage French round black marble top on incredibly ornate gold gilt metal pedestal plant stand, circa 1940. Beautiful patina on gilt surface with black undertones. Stand is heavy and sturdy. Amazing cast metal base is covered in ornate decoration including foliate, scrolls and brilliant rams’ heads at each side of base. Lovely black marble top with veins of white and ogee edge. Truly stunning French stand will add elegance and style to any space with most any décor!! Dimensions: Stand is 28.5″ high with 12″ diameter at top. Base is 12-1/2 square. Weight is approximately 21 lbs. Condition: In excellent overall vintage condition with light normal wear from age and use. Marble is very good with surface wear and staining, no cracks or chips.
