The stands just over 5 feet tall it seems like its really old Im not 100% sure about that era its from. It might even be older but Im not sure. Because its so old there are some signs of wear to it. Large Egg Teardrop Plant Hanger Stand Vintage Mod Mid Century Modern Danish. Fair shape with signs of use and wear (and rusting on the platter) as seen in the images. This one is pretty large and I had to go outside to take images of it. It takes a good height of my door, so you can see it’s large and big. I’ll get proper measurements upon request. I’m not sure what to call the design of this. Is it teardrop or egg? It’s sorta both and yet not. It’s like one of those vintage Christmas balls shape and it seems no one knows their proper name. Anyway, I think it’s was a planter due to the extra rustedness on the base there that could only be caused by watering a plant with a bottom that leaks water. I recommend treating that if you want to use it as a planter. I thought it was for a large candle, but that would be rather dangerous wouldn’t it? I don’t know what material it’s made of, but it’s amazingly light so it’s certainly not brass nor copper. It is a beauty though and I do like it quite a bit.
