Gorgeous antique Victorian Italian style pedestal plant or art stand with Italian Carrara marble top and gilt on cream ground metal base, circa 1940. Stand is heavy and sturdy. Incredible floral repousse metal surround at top on detailed pedestal with acanthus leaves and scrolls. Marble is not attached and is marked “Made in Italy” underneath. Stunning Victorian Italian style stand will add elegance and style to any room and most any décor!! Dimensions: Stand is 36-3/4″ high with 12-1/4″ diameter top. The base is 8 square. Weight is 25 lbs. Condition: In excellent overall antique condition with light normal wear from age and use. Superb patina and desirable wear! Some wear to all surfaces including minor scuffs and paint wear. Marble has one edge repair and scratches (see pictures). No other issues found. Please review pictures thoroughly for condition. The base is 12 square. Weight is 30 lbs. Condition: In excellent overall antique condition with light normal wear from age and use. Some wear to all surfaces including minor scuffs and gilt wear. There is a repair to one of the scroll feet under a cherub. One small chip on the underside of the marble top (see picture). No other issues found. Please review pictures thoroughly for condition.
