This antique flower cart belonged to my grandmother who was a professional florist and worked for Herbert Stanley Florists in Palo Alto California. It was originally used to display floral arrangements in the center of the shop, and once had wood for the shelving. Due to it being outdoors in the garden for many years, the wood became weathered. I have since replaced the wood with plexiglass. It has come in handy to hold pots full of succulents and other flowers/plants as well as a bar for drinks and a service station for food during a garden brunch. Some of the metal has rusted but that only adds to its charm. It is able to be pushed or pulled on the two large wheels and it is extremely stable on either a lawn or even flagstone as you can see in the photos. Measures approx: 36 1/2 W x 54 1/2 H x 59 1/2 L. This is a beautiful antique Victorian 3-Tiered PLANT STAND. Made with onyx shelves & onyx finial accents. Beautifully ornate with fine brass or bronze scrollwork and sweeping undulating lines. Maximum dimensions are 46H x 13 3/4W x 13 1/2D. Each onyx flat measures 6 1/2W x 6 1/2D x 3/4H. The distance between the two bottom shelves is a bit more than 13 1/2. No chips or cracks to onyx. In beautiful antique condition as shown in photos. Photos taken inside and out for variations of color.
