Antique Victorian Marble Top Gilt Metal Cherub Base 34 Plant Stand c. Gorgeous antique Victorian plant or art stand with Italian Carrara marble top on three ornate gilt metal columns with cherubs, circa 1940. Stand is heavy and sturdy. Wonderfully detailed columns atop a shaped giltwood base raised on 8 sweet ball feet. Marble is marked “Made in Italy”. Stunning Victorian Art Nouveau stand will add elegance and style to any room and most any décor!!! I have a matching accent table also listed. Dimensions: Stand is 34″ high with 12″ diameter top. The base is 12 square. Weight is 30 lbs. Condition: In excellent overall antique condition with light normal wear from age and use. Some wear to all surfaces including minor scuffs and gilt wear. There is a repair to one of the scroll feet under a cherub. One small chip on the underside of the marble top (see picture). No other issues found. Please review pictures thoroughly for condition. French Victorian Plant Stand from the late 19th Century – This 3 tier stand was designed with a flat back for easy accommodation to fit against any wall setting and easily moveable with steel coasters. Recently when through complete restoration from sandblasting to power coating finished then cured in a 400-degree oven. The color is light gray. The design of the tiers allows you to stack multi size of plants for display. Makes a beautiful piece for any outdoor garden, patio, and even an indoor plant room or sunroom.
