Large Egg Teardrop Plant Hanger Stand Vintage Mod Mid Century Modern Danish. Fair shape with signs of use and wear (and rusting on the platter) as seen in the images. This one is pretty large and I had to go outside to take images of it. It takes a good height of my door, so you can see it’s large and big. I’ll get proper measurements upon request. I’m not sure what to call the design of this. Is it teardrop or egg? It’s sorta both and yet not. It’s like one of those vintage Christmas balls shape and it seems no one knows their proper name. Anyway, I think it’s was a planter due to the extra rustedness on the base there that could only be caused by watering a plant with a bottom that leaks water. I recommend treating that if you want to use it as a planter. I thought it was for a large candle, but that would be rather dangerous wouldn’t it? I don’t know what material it’s made of, but it’s amazingly light so it’s certainly not brass nor copper. It is a beauty though and I do like it quite a bit. Here we have this very cool vintage industrial adjustable mic stand style standing lamp with bending goose neck. 10 1/2 in diameter and features a floral motif. Body of lamp measures approx. 38″ tall to 56 1/2″ tall. 8″ x 4 1/2″ x 3 and is attached to approx. This is an excellent vintage industrial piece. Tested and works great, although the cable has some heavy wear and will need replacing or repair. Ultra-Special Find for Those Seeking to Up Their MCM Decor. With 3 Circular Platforms of Decorative Mesh. I was so excited when I came upon this special piece. The design is just so retro and screams 1960′s. It is in very good condition with it’s original gold finish. It is great the way it is, but if one is looking for. A more sleek glossy finish, a quick coat of gold or silver metallic paint will make it one slick piece. I also had another thought if you are not necessarily a plant person. Each of the “platforms” has a very common 10 diameter. You could find round mirrors (probably at Hobby Lobby). An then you could use it to display anything. Just an all round fun blast from the past for the next lucky owner. Very, very good for a 60 year old piece. The metal is not bent anywhere and the joints are completely secure. The finish shows some wear on the tubular portions, but I took some close up pictures so that you can see it. It isn’t bad. The paint surface on the decorative mesh on the circular areas is completely intact with no paint loss. The stand measures 32″ wide, 23″ deep, and is 10 wide.
