Vintage original wrought iron stand or Kitchen decor shelving. Top left curl slightly bent a little see picture 4. Top shelf is more narrow great for spices or small potted herbs. I think this would look awesome in a vintage kitchen with vintage Pyrex or old kitchen ware. Makes a Great antique store display too. And also looks lovely by the pool and garden with plants. But I would love to see it painted Red and put back in a bakery setting with lots of pies! Rare opportunity to own a sturdy useful item that I’m sure your enjoy for years to come. RARE VINTAGE 1940/50′s CROWN BIRDCAGE WITH STAND/PLANT STAND. EARLY 1950′s CROWN BIRDCAGE WITH ORIGINAL STAND WAS MY GRANDMOTHERS. IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. CAGE HAS CROWN PLAQUE ON. SIDE OF CAGE, ALL 4 GLASS INSERTS ARE PRESENT AND ORIGINAL , NOT CRACKED. LOVELY DESIGN WITH LEAVES. CLASSIC BIRDCAGE DESIGN, ALL CORNER GUARDS INPLACE. DRAWER SLIDES OUT FOR EASY CLEANING. SITS ATOP ITS ORIGINAL STAND WITH 2 SMALL SHELF PLATFORMS FOR HOUSEPLANTS. MY GRANDMOTHER ALWAYS HAD AFRICAN VIOLETS ON THE SHELF AREAS. GUARDED WITH METAL SCROLL AND LEAF DESIGN THAT MATCHES THE CAGE. I HAVE SOME OF MY MOMS CERAMIC BIRDS IN CAGE FOR DISPLAY ONLY. FEEDERS WERE REMOVED YEARS AGO, SO YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND SOME OLD ONES FOR IT. HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SINCE HER DEATH IN 1980. CAGE MEASURES 18″ LONG, 9″ WIDE, 13 TALL. STAND IS 42″ TALL BY 18″ AT FEET. CAGE RESTS ON TOP OF THE STAND. SHELFS ARE APPROX 6 X 6. This particular model of the Crown birdcages are very rare and hard to find. I believe I had seen one other in blue. THE COLOR IS ORIGINAL.
