You are purchasing a very unique vintage / antique metalware folding plant stand. Appears to be made from cast, it has 2 horse heads at the top of each tier along with a swinging monkey on each decorative panel. The rope may or may not be original to the piece, but is was certainly put in place securely with metal ties, which are now rusty. Estate found, patina is original, we have not tried to clean the piece. Paint color is a very light aqua, greenish pastel. Measures 27″ tall and each section is 9″ without the hinges. Rubber feet caps are original. Folds and opens easily. A one of a kind piece that could be used for plants, decor, serving. Overall condition is unique, rare, very good, excellent. May need a bit of light clean up in it’s new home. Weighs just under 7 lbs. We pack with TLC. It is from India, and likely made when India was ruled by Great Britain, which was between 1858 and 1947. I would guess sometime towards the end of British rule of indian. The design looks very British, with several pub scenes. The same design is on all sides of the stand. The feet on the bottom of the stand look like talons from a large bird figure. The metal has a great aged dark patina, and still in very nice condition. 42 1/2 inch tall. The display top on the pedestal measures approx. 10 1/4 inch square. At the bottom feet, to measures approx. It is pretty heavy at the bottom, so it will not tip easily. It is an exotic handsome display piece, surely a unique find.
