This is a gorgeous metal plant stand. I’m not sure how old it is, but it has a great unique charm. The paint is starting to peel on the top surface, but at this age that’s to be expected. Antique Victorian Marble Top Gilt Metal Cherub Base 34 Plant Stand c. Gorgeous antique Victorian plant or art stand with Italian Carrara marble top on three ornate gilt metal columns with cherubs, circa 1940. Stand is heavy and sturdy. Wonderfully detailed columns atop a shaped giltwood base raised on 8 sweet ball feet. Marble is marked “Made in Italy”. Stunning Victorian Art Nouveau stand will add elegance and style to any room and most any décor!!! I have a matching accent table also listed. Dimensions: Stand is 34″ high with 12″ diameter top. The base is 12 square. Weight is 30 lbs. Condition: In excellent overall antique condition with light normal wear from age and use. Some wear to all surfaces including minor scuffs and gilt wear. There is a repair to one of the scroll feet under a cherub. One small chip on the underside of the marble top (see picture). No other issues found. Please review pictures thoroughly for condition.
